Silicone PSR25 Moulding Rubber
Platinum – Food Grade
Shore Hardness: 25A
PSR25A: 2,5 kg Buckets
PSR25B: 2,5 kg Buckets
PSR 25 is a two component Platinum Cured (Addition) silicone elastomer which cross-links at room temperature by a addition reaction. The resulting product is flexible, elastic and gives excellent tear resistance. Excellent tear and Tensile strength. Food grade silicone.
Application
PSR 25 is ideally suited for detailed reproduction. Moulds made from PSR 25 are used in the manufacture of components in polyester resin, plaster, concrete, polyurethane, wax, soap, cakes, chocolate. It is used where food grade is required. Compliance with FDA Certificate.
Instructions
Weigh equal amounts of part A with part B, using a digital scale, accurate to 1 or 2 g, into a paper cup. Mix slowly for about 3 minutes. Transfer the contents to a second paper cup, scrapping the sides and bottom. Mix for another 2 minutes. And Pour. This two – cup method is very important, as part A and part B are of the same colour, and the sides of the first cup is never mixed.
As the food grade version is not pigmented, it is not easy to ensure that both components are thoroughly mixed. Therefore, it is suggested that the two components be mixed well in one container, then transferred to another container, and mixed again. This will ensure that there is no unmixed material.
